A community vision nears completion
Cowra Early Childhood Services
What started as a vision to create a dedicated preschool for the Central West NSW community is just days away from completion. We are thrilled to celebrate the milestone of this stunning early learning facility, designed around genuine local need and delivered within a restricted, grant-funded budget.
For Cowra Early Childhood Services, the project needed to do more than provide additional preschool places. It needed to reflect the organisation’s values, respond to the needs of local families and give the board confidence that every decision was financially and strategically sound.
The Challenge
Cowra Early Childhood Services set out to build a dedicated preschool for their community.
The challenge was balancing genuine local demand with a restricted grant-funded budget, while developing a project that could withstand funding, planning and development scrutiny.

The Result

Development Approval secured, first submission
120 children
per week, opening Term 2, 2027
On budget. The result is a purpose-built community preschool that responds to local demand while giving the board confidence throughout the development process.
The completed centre is now preparing for Service Approval, with Cowra Early Childhood Services looking forward to opening to 120 children each week in Term 2, 2027.
